American Buttoneer is run by Kristin McGowan, a graphic designer who creates and sells pinback buttons, fridge/locker magnets, and stickers. Her subject matter is American politics from a liberal/progressive perspective.

You can buy the buttons, magnets, and stickers in person at the American Buttoneer booth in New York City's Washington Square Park on Saturdays and Sundays — weather permitting — as well as a couple days during the week (weekday schedule changes from week to week).
